(Senior) Data Engineer

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT US:

As part of IT, we work together with the Core and Platform Integration teams to support the success of our data-centric organization. Together, we provide data products to all stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing, maintaining and optimizing data models and ELT/ETL processes
  • Securing and monitoring data quality and pipelines
  • Implementing data governance and security measures to ensure data integrity and compliance
     
  • Collaborating with the business departments, from requirements gathering to acceptance of data products
  • Creating complex analyses and supporting the creation of reports, as well as updating documentation

YOUR PROFILE:

  • At least four years of relevant professional experience in the field of data engineering
  • Experience in the technical leadership of project teams is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Python (pandas, pyarrow, dlt)
     
  • Experience with Airflow / Astronomer or similar orchestration tools
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with dbt desirable
  • An understanding of and experience with AWS services and Terraform is also desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
