We are looking for a committed and analytically minded Senior Financial Controller to join our team and make a significant contribution to the strategic direction of our company. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independent development and provision of ad hoc analyses
  • Preparation of analyses, reports, forecasts and presentations for the management
  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Active participation in the preparation of multi-year financial planning
  • Conducting profitability analyses and analyzing profitability at the product and business unit level and providing valuable insights for optimization
  • Identifying potential improvements to our controlling processes and implementing them in practice
  • Supporting investment decisions and strategic projects
  • Representation of the Head of Financial Controlling in the Credit Committee and Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO)

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Several years of experience in controlling, ideally in the finance or banking industry
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills for evaluating complex financial data
  • Knowledge of various financial products and instruments used in the banking industry
  • Confident handling of common controlling tools and software (e.g. Excel, BI tools)
  • Fluent German and English to work in an international environment
  • Independent, structured and result-oriented way of working with a high quality awareness
  • Strong communication skills to communicate at eye level with various stakeholders
  • Persuasiveness and the ability to present complex information in an understandable way
