DESCRIPTION:Due to the special audit of the business operations pursuant to Section 44 (1) sentence 2 of the German Banking Act (KWG) by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, as the auditor for the 2022 financial year, was only able to complete the necessary audit procedures at Varengold Bank AG after a significant delay, so that the Supervisory Board of Varengold Bank AG was only able to approve the 2022 annual financial statements by resolution on 20 June 2024. The Annual General Meeting for the 2022 financial year originally planned for 30 August 2023 will therefore be held on 13 August 2024.
