AWS Architect & Team Lead - Software Development

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT US:

We are looking for you to start as AWS Architect & Team Lead - Software Development in Hamburg as soon as possible. Our hybrid working model with flexible use of mobile working leaves it up to you to decide (from) where you work. However, you should not miss our team day on Tuesday.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership: Professional and disciplinary management of a team of six colleagues (Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, Data Quality, Data Governance) including holding regular team meetings and promoting a cooperative and high-performance team culture
  • Project management: Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, budget & scope
  • Cloud Management: Optimizing AWS resources and infrastructure and automating infrastructure provisioning with tools such as Terraform
  • Cloud solutions: Designing and implementing scalable, reliable and secure AWS architectures
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards throughout the entire development process
  • Collaboration: sparring partner for colleagues on technical topics

YOUR PROFILE:

  • AWS Solution Architect Professional certification with several years of relevant experience (extensive experience with AWS services)
  • Proven experience in leading small to medium sized teams
  • Proficiency in Java, Python and Terraform is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of system and software architecture and design patterns
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage projects    
  • Critical thinking and analytical problem solving skill
